Jersey cop finally makes it to DVD.
Well, with only two days to go before this site closes, we receive news that Bergerac is finally coming out on DVD.
A user was jubilant to discover season one for pre-order from online stores. It comes out in October.
Naturally they emailed us, taking great care to point out that, every time they asked us we've replied rather flippantly. I think the exact phrase we may have used was "If it's not out now, it'll never be".
Well, sorry. We're wrong. Obviously the public demand for old grim-chops and his awful girlfriends is enormous.
We still think a box set of the best episodes would be better. You know, all the spooky ones, the Liza Goddard ones, and that one with the gay horse.
And, as a special feature, you could have a compilation of Jim's facial expressions. Both of them.
