Robin of Sherwood con

Fans of the hooded man to descend on Swindon.

Even though it ended in 1986, Robin of Sherwood still attracts a huge following, buoyed by the release of the series on DVD.

To mark its continued popularity, fans will be travelling to Swindon in August to attend Legend - The UK Robin of Sherwood Convention.

The event, which takes place at The Hilton Hotel over the weekend of 27th-29th August, will include activities such as a location trip, quiz and a medieval banquet. It will also pay host to several actors who will be discussing their time on the series.

Nickolas Grace, who played the Sheriff of Nottingham, is confirmed to appear alongside Friar Tuck actor Phil Rose and Jeremy Bulloch, who played Edward of Wickham.

Further information can be found on the Legend website, which you can access via the link below.

Thanks to Daniel Garrett of BBC Wiltshire for the news.
