Review: Alias - Remnants
Will Tippin's back!
Where there's a Will, there's a good episode of Alias. The last we saw of young Will Tippin he was lying dead in a bathtub, having being stabbed by his girlfriend's evil lesbian double.
Two years on, and Sydney needs Will's help, so she hunts him down to what appears to be the set of a gay porn movie about builders.
Will was happy to help Syd out with her quest for her missing memory, as Syd let him borrow her wig bag, her costumes, and even one of her dodgy accents.
Three good things about this:
1) They finally had sex.
2) Will took his shirt off.
3) He's started waxing.
Meanwhile, the plot charged on in a bit of a giddy blur - yet more fabulously unreal hotels, stupidly chic places, and really ridiculous espionage schemes.
The Syd/Will stuff made a blissful change from the Syd/Vaughn relationship (I love you. I hate you. Don't touch me. Don't let me go). We also got to see Will get his own back on Fake Francie, who died in a flurry of eye-rolling and feathers. We'll miss her.
Syd managed to hunt down Sark's father, only to lose him to Sark (she really must stop doing that), which led to this week's camp highlight, as we got to see Sark torture his own father with a Creme Brulee torch.
Next week's episode features some stunning revelations and the phrase "dental pulp".
