Patrick McGoohan's cult series is being shown as part of BBC Four's Summer in the Sixties season - two episodes back-to-back, Fridays at 11pm from 11th June.

To mark the occasion, we've produced a mini site devoted to it in our I Love TV section.

Just what was The Prisoner all about? We attempt to answer that question with an introduction to the series and trivia facts galore.

A definite highlight of the site is the episode guide written by author Jonathan Morris. Jonathan has watched a lot of television before, but not, strangely enough, The Prisoner.
