Magic Roundabout trailer goes online.
When a film version of that teatime favourite The Magic Roundabout was announced, most people were expecting a CGI version of the original with a gentle if surreal plot about sugar.
But no – looking at the trailer that has just gone online, it appears that the makers have turned one of our favourite cult shows into a big action adventure movie!
The trailer begins cosily enough with a mock BBC clock ident from the 70's, complete with soothing announcement, only for the television to crack and a mock action movie trailer to take over.
It's a race against time as our heroes Dougal, Brian, Florence and Zebedeee try to get back to the roundabout.
Think James and the Giant Peach crossed with Indiana Jones, think Chicken Run, think... anything but The Magic Roundabout!
