Roswell film campaign

Those Roswell fans just won't give in.

No doubt prompted by the news that cancelled series Firefly would be making its way to the multiplexes, fans of Roswell are trying to get a film of their favourite series commissioned.

You may remember that Roswell fans successfully got a second and third series (well, part of one) of the aliens in America saga made, through campaigns involving such stunts as sending Fox executives bottles of Tabasco sauce (a favourite tipple of the aliens in the series).

Now fans have launched a month-long campaign to raise awareness of their desire to see a Roswell movie.

Jodi Moore, an organiser of the campaign, said, "The key message is letting those in charge know that our passion and dedication to the show are still very much alive."

"They already know that a fan-driven push for a movie is in place, but it is up to us, the fans, to show them how much we want the story to continue, and how much we are willing to work to get it."
