Trek and the City

Alexander Siddig and Kim Cattrall to star on London stage.

Star Trek star Alexander Siddig will be appearing alongside Sex and The City (as well as Star Trek) star Kim Cattrall in a production of Whose Life is it Anyway, by Bryan Clarke next year.

For a comedy, the play's plot is hardly a bundle of laughs. Cattrall plays Claire Harrison, a woman who decides to die after being paralysed from the neck down. Siddig, known for his role as Doctor Julian Bashir in Deep Space Nine, will play Doctor Scott, who supports her in her decision to end her life.

The production, which is directed by Sir Peter Hall, will be at the London Comedy Theatre, and will run from 20 January until 30 April 2005.

Oh, and if you're still wondering, Cattrall played Lieutenant Valeris in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.
