Simpsons movie set
Movie due for 2008 says show's executive producer.
Entertainment Weekly recently caught up with The Simpsons executive producer Al Jean about the rumoured feature film.
Jean confirmed that the writers are working on the project, but stresses that it is at its very early stages, as the film isn't expected to hit the cinemas until 2008.
"There are a couple things on the show that I steered away from what might be in the movie. The biggest thing is you don't want to do a movie that's not reflective of the quality of the show, and you don't want the quality of the show to slip because you're doing the movie. So we're taking a little time" said Jean.
