Smallfilms

An event celebrates the work of Bagpuss and Noggin the Nog creators.

Smallfilms: An Illustrated Masterclass with Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin is one of the events making up the BFI's TV2004 festival.

From the dark sagas of Noggin the Nog to the homely world of Bagpuss, the power and simplicity of their work have made Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate masters of the art of television story-telling.

This event gives you the chace to hear about their highly original production techniques, see their favourite clips and ask questions of the two men who have spent their lives making some of the most cherished works of children's television.

Smallfilms: An Illustrated Masterclass with Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin will be held on 20 November at 4.15pm.

Check out the BFI website for further details about the TV2004 festival.
