Two minute tales

BBC7 tells some (very) short stories.

From Sunday 14th November 2004, BBC7 will be airing a series of short stories all with one theme: they're two minutes long. Well, maybe not exactly two minutes long... but no longer than 2'59" and no shorter than 2'00".

Expect bizarre (and brief) tales of witches, treachery, Nazis, and science-gone-wrong. The Two Minute Takes are written by Nick McCarty, Nick Fisher, Nick Warburton and Wally K Daly.

They'll be airing every Sunday after the Westway Omnibus, and before the drama omnibus. They will also be available online – and heard throughout the weekday schedule, too.

Other stories concern the last moments of an astronaut alone in the farthest reaches of space, a restless child ghost and a man who makes a terrible mistake with a time machine.
