More Hex

Sky's homegrown supernatural teen drama gets second series.

A spokesperson for Sky One has confirmed that Hex will be back for a second run. What's more, the episode count with be increased to 13, as apposed to just the six that made up series one.

Hex has been a hit with viewers, easily beating other cable and satellite shows in its timeslot, with audiences in excess of 1 million.

"Hex has had a huge impact with a dedicated and upmarket audience," a Sky One spokesman told the Media Guardian. "It has really created a buzz and spawned numerous spinoff fansites and chatrooms on the internet."

A DVD release of the first series is set for January 2005.
