Sliders

Alternative dimension series comes to DVD in December.

Out on 27 December from Universal Pictures is a box set featuring series one and two of Sliders.

Week-in, week-out the 'Sliders' would end up in an alternative dimension and would try their utmost to get home.

The series, which ran from 1995-2000, featured Jerry O'Connell as Quinn Mallory and Brian Blessed-alike John Rhys-Davies as Professor Maximillion Arturo.

The box set features a commentary by the series' co-creators (Tracy Torme and Robert K Weiss), a making-of featurette and a gallery.
