Charley's War

Writer Pat Mills chats about his classic World War One comic.

The tale of a sixteen year old soldier in the trenches, Charley's War has been critically acclaimed for its authenticity and realism. Drawn by Joe Colquhoun and written by Pat Mills, the story first appeared in Battle Picture Weekly. Now, following a rerun in the Judge Dredd Megazine, it's out as a graphic novel from Titan.
