Dick and Dom's family

Classic quiz show revived by Saturday morning scamps.

Ant and Dec beware! Dick and Dom are moving out of da bungalow and taking up residence in a new teatime slot - with a revival of wholesome family quiz show Ask the Family.

The series, originally made famous by host Robert Robinson in the 1970s, will see the presenters challenge a family of four - two adults and two children - to pit their wits against each other. But will they they be sporting sharp suits and comb-overs, we wonder?

Ask The Family will offer "viewers from teenagers to grandparents a quirky and entertaining start to their evening," noted BBC daytime controller Alison Sharman.

The new series of Ask The Family begins on BBC Two this spring.
