South Parked

New UK home for the rather rude cartoon.

The Paramount Comedy channel has secured the UK rights to the latest season of South Park, the seventh set of potty-mouthed adventures so far.

The deal with MTV Networks means that the series will no longer be shown on Sky One.

"South Park has been on our wish-list for some time and we are thrilled to be working with MTV Networks on such a key acquisition," said Heather Jones, Paramount Comedy's general manager.

"The show reflects our ongoing commitment to provide viewers with the best new comedy from around the world, alongside much-loved favourites."

The deal also gives the channel the rights to repeat seasons one through to six.
