Masters of Horror

Showtime preps new anthology series.

American cable channel Showtime has bought the rights to a new horror anthology series, reports Variety.

The thirteen-part Masters of Horror series will be writen and/or directed by some of the biggest names associated with the genre. They include John Carpenter, Roger Corman, Joe Dante and John Landis.

Production begins next month in Vancouver, with a UK transmission yet to be sought.
