Blade TV
Pilot for movie spin-off green lit.
Spike TV has commissioned a two-hour TV movie of Blade that, if successful, will spawn a TV series.
Blade writer (and director of the third movie) David S. Goyer will executive produce the project, alongside work on film adaptations of Ghost Rider and The Flash.
It is unlikely Wesley Snipes will return as the half-human, half-vampire warrior as he is suing New Line and Goyer over a breach of contract.
