Kath and Kim

Australia's alternative sitcom comes to BBC Two.

Starting this Thursday at 10pm on BBC Two is brash sitcom Kath and Kim. Meet Kim, an idle divorcee, and Kath her arrogant daughter. They may clash over a lot of things, but their taste-free approach to men, clothes and fashion accessories unites them.

Touted as Neighbours meets The Royle Family, Kath and Kim has been a huge hit in Australia, and over here on Living TV, with stars such as Kylie Minogue, Geoffrey Rush and Rachel Griffiths clamouring to make cameo appearances.

Expect it to be a huge hit on terrestrial telly - Soon we all be saying, "That's nooice, that's different, that's un-ewe-sual," but hopefully we won't be copying Kath and Kim's fashion sense.
