End of the ride
HBO confirms that it has axed Carnivale.
In a statement released yesterday, HBO entertainment president Carolyn Strauss said, "We feel the two seasons we had on the air told the story very well, and we're proud of what everyone associated with the show accomplished."
The cancellation comes after a well-received 24 episode run, spread over two-seasons.
