Calling comic artists

Design a new villain for 2000 AD.

2000 AD is launching a nationwide competition to find the best new talent in the country. The brief is simple ' design a new villain for future lawman Judge Dredd.

The two winners in each category (12-18 and 18+) will have a specially commissioned Judge Dredd story written for them by John Wagner featuring their villain, and will receive expert advice from professional creators on how to draw a five-page comic strip.

The stories will be printed in a 2000 AD Winter Special, also featuring stories written and drawn by the UK's emerging new talent.

Send your entries (full length image of the character, with further sketches if necessary, plus a fifty-word profile explaining who he/she/it is) together with your name, age and address, to: 2000 AD/Stabilo Art Competition, The Studio, Brewer St, Oxford, OX1 1QN or e-mail your entries to 2000ADSTABILO@2000ADONLINE.COM
