Net Wars over Sith

Pirate of Star Wars film is wiped off the net.

Look, I know we shouldn't be talking about Star Wars. We're a site about crumbly old TV, and if we suddenly got all interested it would look as though we're jumping on the bandwagon.

Well, we don't need to. We have the Doctor Who bandwagon, thank you very much, and it's rattling along rather nicely.

So why our sudden flicker of interest in Star Wars? Simple. It's a sunny day and there's no Cult TV news at all. Not even a Bergerac DVD.

So, instead, we lazily checked the BBC News site and discovered that, larks, LucasFilm has succesfully shut down some pesky BitTorrent sites that were spreading a pirate version of the new film all over the internet. It's a very nice story - but why should we bother copying it out like our geography homework when we can just urge you to click the link below - it's what the internet's all about...
