Kane goes West

Angel actor to feature in new BBC show.

Christian Kane, best known to cult fans as the evil lawyer Lindsey McDonald in Angel, will return to British screens next year - as a cowboy.

The BBC has just bought the rights to epic new Steven Spielberg mini-series Into The West, in which Christian will play Abe Wheeler. a.k.a. High Wolf.

Over six 90-minute episodes, Into The West follows the experiences of two families in the period 1825 to 1892; one, a Virginia family moving west to search for a new life, the other, a Native American tribe.

Christian has also recently landed a starring role in US crime drama Close To Home, which launches in America this autumn.
