Blue Peter - a show that mums and dads are quite happy to plonk
their children in front of. While the presenters get creative with
a plastic washing up bottle and some felt, parents everywhere breathe
a sigh of relief.
It is not huge surprise that the spin off merchandise was a hit
- probably more with adults than with the kids who received them.
But no doubt plenty of youngsters enjoyed piecing together their
very own Blue Peter jigsaw all in the hope of winning one of those
cool BP badges.
