Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker slipped into a huge variety of different guises and personalities.
Each show followed a simple format, opening with a mock news item, was packed with cocktail party sketches, meandering monologues by Corbett and astounding pronunciation by Barker.
And there were spoof serials like The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town (raspberry provided by a young �flatulent� David Jason).
