If you were getting a bit bored of your chopper in 1976 and you
need to spice up your bike life you would probably have been tempted
to get "Raw Power"! It was a sound box to attach to your bike handle
that made a revving sound� in the past cyclists had made do with
a bell.
Kids who couldn�t afford Raw Power but did have a Grifter bike
soon learned you could flip your mudguard under the tyre and generate
pretty much the same sound. Only problem was you soon had no mudguard
left!
