The Boy from Space was written by Richard Carpenter, who went on to find fame as the author of Robin of Sherwood, the definitive telling of the Sherwood Forest legend.
Dark Towers was written by Andrew Davies, screenwriter on Bridget Jones�s Diary and Pride and Prejudice.
