Classic TV | Star Cops
Introduction
Star Cops Created by Chris Boucher (Blake's, Doctor Who), Star Cops is set in the near future (2027) when man has began to colonise space.

Central to the drama is Nathan Spring (David Calder), the new Commander of the International Space Police Force.

Nathan is at first reluctant to take up the post since the division is constantly derided to the point that it has earned the nickname Star Cops.

He soon embraces his task - to turn the force into a professional outfit and solve crime on an international and galactic scale.

The nine episodes of Star Cops were broadcast Mondays on BBC Two from 6th July to 31st August.
