Roobarb (1974)

Roobarb was a rather loveable green mongrel, Custard was a rather lazy and mishievnous pink cat. First broadcast on BBC1 in October 1974, Roobarb was an instant hit with viewers,and the series was regularly repeated by the BBC up until the end of April 1989.

Roobarb was produced and directed by Oscar and BAFTA winning animator Bob Godfrey,who was also the creative talent behind Henry's Cat.
