Rhapsody in Blue
by David Kemper
Directed by Andrew Prowse

PLOT
In bed on Earth with his girlfriend Alex, Crichton is about to propose to her when she tells him she's leaving to take a job far away from the space programme he's joining. He hides the ring - and falls out of his bed on Moya as the ship flails into starburst, its faster-than-light drive.

As everyone makes it to the bridge, they find that Moya has herself initiated this race and now she's brought them to some unknown part of the galaxy. Crichton realises all of them have been dreaming of the past and lost loves and Pilot figures out that Moya had gone to the aid of another pregnant Leviathan.

But there isn't one. It's all a series of illusions to bring Zhaan to this place, the so-called New Moon of Delvia.

Zhaan's fellow priests have fled the real Delvia, now under Peacekeeper control, and ostensibly have come here to continue their religion. Specifically, to avoid surrending to the dark and sinister side of themselves.

New leader of the group, Tahleen, wants Zhaan's help to teach her how to control this dangerous side, to surrender to it when necessary and yet to keep one's sanity.

It's just a little help, the "tiniest seed", for her sister priests. Or so Tahleen claims.
