Vidal Sassoon The top name in hairdressing during the Sixties was Vidal Sassoon, whose customers included Mary Quant, Jean Shrimpton and Mia Farrow.
Sassoon famously flew to America for Farrow when she wanted her hair styled for the film 'Rosemary's Baby'. It cost her $5,000. Sassoon had been a protégé of Mr Teasy-Weezy Raymond.
His most famous haircuts were the bob of 1963 and the geometric style of 1966. By 1968 Sassoon's name was synonymous with hair styling.
