A scarecrow with interchangeable heads for thinking, dancing, and working, played by former Dr Who Jon Pertwee.

The series also featured actress Una Stubbs as Worzel's love interest - an Aunt Sally doll with bright pink cheeks and an understandable tendency to move like a robot.

The highlight of each episode was when Worzel asked for 'a cup o' tea and a slice of cake'!
