RealMedia: Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks

This bizzare series arrived amid such media hype that it could not be ignored by the public.

It was a surreal soap set in North West America and meandered in and out of minor plots constantly returning to the main question: Who killed Laura Palmer?

FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) came to the sleepy town of Twin Peaks to discover what happened to the 17-year-old homecoming queen. Most of his leads came from dreams involving midgets and his findings were dictated to a microcassette recorder between mouthfuls of cherry pie.

The series was created by cult film director David Lynch, famous for films such as Blue Velvet and The Elephant Man.
