Robert Carlyle
VIDEO CLIP:
RealMedia: The Full Monty

The Fully Monty

Low budget but big hit! The story of the Sheffield ex-steelworkers who desperately set out to make something of themselves by losing their clothes, proved equally popular on both sides of the pond and was nominated for four Academy Awards.

Robert Carlyle, as Daz, heads up the Dirty Dancing style Chippendale-wannabes of the North. His on-screen pals Dave (Mark Addy) and Horse (Paul Barber) among others, help in providing some seriously funny scenes.

Whether you noticed the serious undertones of need versus self respect and men's emotional shortcomings or you simply saw it as a very funny motley crew of less than enticing bodies, it was a sure success.
